A fully integrated production process

The production process of decomatic is based on 3 main steps : the graphic design, printing and converting

Pre-press

In-house graphics department : creation, design, and  preparation for the printing process

A well-printed product is first of all a good choice of images and texts, adapted to the printing process used. Flexography is not an exception to the rule. That is why we can bring you our support and our competences in computer graphics to realise and/or  to optimise your creations.

Mastering the main graphic softwares (Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, In design), our pre-press department listens to customer’s needs to propose improvements and changes in oline with the flexography process.

After this preliminary work, we supply a “ready for press” document to our customers, done on a calibrated and screened Epson printer, according to our printing specifications. This document, once approved, follows the order during the production.

Photopolymer plates creation : a process without solvent for engraving

clicherie

With its integrated system of photopolymer plates engraving by laser, decomatic is advanced in terms of environment, quality of realisation, and reactivity.

With the Dupont Cyrel ® Digital imager system associating digital flow and laser technology, decomatic reduces its waste; no more negative films or solvents in engraving process!

Printingimpression

With a range of multi-purpose flexographic printing machines, decomatic can print on films and tubes of small or large widths.

Whatever the support (Polyethylene, PVC, PET, PLA and other plastic materials), we print in four-colour printing or in line, up to 9 colors.

Production runs in small and medium series, which require flexibility and reactivity, are also one of the strong points of decomatic.

Converting

Lamination

Depending on the case, we can make lamination of various materials (sticking two films together).  This operation gives to the film new properties, adapted to the customer uses:

  • High strengh (bumps, scratches)
  • Resistance of the printing to chemical attacks
  • UV or thermal barrier

Converting : a specific know-how

Thanks to State-of-the art machines, most of them developed by décomatic to suit perfectly to production constraints and needs, our company has acquired an experience and a specific know-how in the production of sleeves and envelopes. It ensures our customers of always having a competent technical interlocutor by their side, source of proposal.
